Established in 1997 Standard Service grown up as a service company for analytical equipment related to heavy industry applications. Important partners like Instron USA – material testing equipment, Wolpert Germany – hardness testers, Spectro AG – optical emission spectrometers, helped Standard Service to grow as a modern company in mentality, technical knowledge and customer service.
Standard Service has a number of 5 employees covering the management, sales, service and accounting departments. The company is fully oriented to customer satisfaction and professional services in order to maintain a good existing reputation on the market. Product portfolio of Standard Service includes only high quality equipments manufactured only by prestigious companies. For this reason we have avoided a large range of products in our offer so we can focus on services of highest quality for the areas that we cover.
Standard Service is certified to ISO 9001 from 2005.
Sales and service departments are certified by DRML for the import, marketing, commissioning and maintenance of all equipments. Both deparments, the sales and the service, are certified, by the manufacturers of the distributed equipments, for sales, marketing and maintenance. Standard Service has a reference list of at least 250 clients in Romania with an estimated growth rate of 25% per year.

• 1997 - Standard Service starts as service company for Instron Wolpert GmbH Germany universal testing machines, hardness testers and impact testers
• 2000 - Standard Service becomes service company for WAS AG Germany spectrometers
• 2001 - Standard Service becomes sales representative for Instron Ltd in Romania
• 2002 - Standard Service 2000 becomes sales representative for WAS AG in Romania
• 2005 - Standard Service discontinues collaboration with Instron Ltd and becomes distributor for Lloyd Instruments, part of Ametek Group, for universal testing machines
• 2005 - Standard Service 2000 discountinues collaboration with Wilson Wolpert and becomes distributor for EmcoTest Prufmaschinen GmbH for hardness testers
• 2005 - Standard Service becomes distributor for Walter+Bai AG Switzerland testing machines
• 2006 - Standard Service becomes distributor for Metkon Instruments Turkey
• 2007 - Standard Service becomes distributor for CSM Instruments Switzerland
